Frequently Asked Questions
Will this kit actually work in a real emergency?
This 262-piece kit was developed in collaboration with first responders, doctors, and special forces operators who understand real emergency scenarios. It includes professional-grade tools like a 17" carbon steel axe and comprehensive first aid supplies designed for the critical first 72 hours when help may not be available.
Is this kit suitable for my family size/situation?
The kit is designed for family use and includes essential tools that can benefit multiple people. The first aid supplies cover various medical emergencies, while tools like the axe, shovel, and shelter materials can serve an entire household. Consider your specific family size and needs when evaluating coverage.
How much does it weigh and is it portable?
The entire 262-piece kit weighs less than 5 pounds and comes in a crossbody bag with MOLLE-compatible straps. The bag features multiple compartments and a detachable strap system, making it easy to carry during evacuations or store at home.
What's the difference between this and basic emergency kits?
Unlike standard emergency kits that focus on basic supplies, this kit includes professional rescue tools (17" axe, 2-in-1 shovel, wire saw) that can cut through debris, break barriers, and handle situations where you need to actively escape rather than wait for help.
How long will shipping take?
Processing time is 1-3 days, with 1-3 day delivery to your address. If you notice an address error, email us quickly at support@letsurvive.com We don't charge for shipping insurance but ensure products reach your address safely and securely.
What if some items break or don't work?
If anything in the kit doesn't arrive or is broken, we'll rectify the issue immediately. We will either send you a replacement unit entirely or send you the exact missing piece of the 262 Emergency Kit. If anything breaks under very little pressure or unintentional usage, we will provide a full-refund as we're confident in our tools and systems.
Is this overkill for my area/situation
Emergency preparedness experts recommend being self-sufficient for at least 72 hours regardless of location. Natural disasters, power outages, and infrastructure failures can happen anywhere. This kit ensures you have professional-grade tools available when basic supplies aren't enough.
